All India Road Transport Workers’ Federation hails the support extended by the
Auto Rickshaw Drivers with humanity and harmony in Srinagar. They have
voluntarily offered free transport to the Tourists to Airport and Railway stations
after the terrorist attack in Pehalgam.

The attack of the terrorists on the Tourists is inhuman and highly condemnable. It
should be arrested forthwith. The people of the entire Jammu & Kashmir with one
voice have condemned the terrorist attacks irrespective of caste and communal.
AIRTWF express dep sorrow and condolences to Alid, Horse rider who gave his life
to save the Tourists. Another Tourist Guide Nazak heroically saved 11 Tourists
belonging to Chhattisgarh when the terrorists are firing. In another incident Musafir
and Samir Taxi Drivers have helped Mrs. Aarati Menon who lost her father in the
terrorists firing till all the formalities are completed and to the Airport. Mrs. Aarati
Menon described them as her brothers. Many such news are coming in. AIRTWF
salutes to all those heroes.

As this is the reality, the fundamentalist elements in some places are inhumanly
stargeting the Muslims in the name of Pehalgam attack. AIRTWF appeals to all the
people to maintain peace and harmony.
